About Us

Hello, My name is Bryan Palacios, and I started this journey at the beginning of 2023.

My inspiration came from my mom as she was the one who gave me the recipe and I added a few new touches. My mom would make these nuts when I was in Middle School and I would bring them to school to share with my classmates. I recall a classmate in High School asking me if I can share the recipe, so I asked my mom if she can teach me the recipe to which she responded "No, because you are going to give it to someone" and she was right. :)

Unfortunately, years went by and eventually my mom was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer Stage 3, and she was only given 6 months to live. Thankfully she lived 2 years longer than expected and during those years she gave me the recipe without me asking for it. I had no intention of ever selling the nuts let alone creating an online shop. To remember my Mom, I started making the nuts and bringing them to family gatherings, or hangouts with friends and eventually everyone kept encouraging me to start selling them. It took me 7 years after my mom's passing to start this shop.

This is a way to start honoring my Mom and for this reason, 5% of all sales from these product will be dedicated to supporting pancreatic cancer research. 

UPDATE: 05/23/2024

Unfortunately, my dad passed away and my family and I need to come up with money for Funeral Cost, I will be using 100% of the funds earned between 05/23/2024 - 06/05/2024 to pay for the funeral services and will revert back to donating to support pancreatic cancer research.

It took me longer than expected to post an update, but I wanted to thank everyone who has helped fund my dad's funeral expenses. We couldn't have done it without you.
